Brittany is a registered Child and Youth Care Practitioner (CYC-P) with the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care and brings over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, and their families across diverse systems of care.

With a unique multi-system lens, Brittany is able to see the bigger picture with depth, appreciation, and perspective. She is deeply passionate about supporting children, youth and their families through a compassionate, strengths-based, and family-centred approach that honours each child’s unique developmental journey.

Brittany has a strong understanding of neurodivergence and approaches her engagement with parents through curiosity, patience, as well as a deep respect for family expertise. She is skilled in collaborating with caregivers to identify and respond to their child’s individual needs, offering practical, developmentally appropriate strategies that promote connection, communication, and emotional safety.

Outside of work, Brittany is a parent of two young children which brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her engagement with families. Her experience navigating the joys and complexities of parenthood strengthens her empathy and deepens her connection with the families she supports.

Brittany is excited to begin her journey with Emerging Minds EST and is especially ready to start empowering parents to feel confident, capable, and supported as they navigate and celebrate their child’s neurodiversities.
